The first rain of winter fell in many cities including Islamabad, Swat, Quetta, Chaman, Qila Abdullah while snow fell in Naran, Lake Saif al-Muluk, Babu Sir Top and Gutti Das, all roads leading to Gilgit were closed. According to the Meteorological Department, the westerly winds that entered the upper parts of the country yesterday began to take shape. It continued to rain in Batgram. After snowfall in Naran and surrounding areas, white sheet was seen in the area. All routes from Naran to Gilgit were completely closed. Residents of the area started migrating from Batakundi Jalkhad. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall for three days. Meanwhile, the intensity of cold has increased in Quetta and surrounding areas after rains. The first rains of winter also entered Chaman, Gulistan and Qila Abdullah. According to the Meteorological Department, it will rain in Gilgit-Baltistan till MondaySnowfall is expected in the mountains while rain and snowfall is expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner and adjoining areas of Kohistan tomorrow (Sunday). According to the Meteorological Department, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Light to moderate rain is expected in Lahore with strong winds. The first snowfall of winter was forecast in Murree and Galyat mountains yesterday (Sunday).
