Amazon Prime Video, a Hindustan Times report, announced on Thursday that it is preparing for the third season of the popular web series Mirzapur.
Fans had to wait for two years for the second season of Mirzapur as the first season was released in 2018. However, now season 3 is being prepared but its release date has not been announced yet.
The second season of the web series, released last month, became the most-watched show on Amazon Prime in just seven days.
Mirzapur 2: What has come will go. Amazon Prime said in a press release that the second season was not only watched by the fans but also the fans completed the entire season in just 48 hours.
Mirzapur is a crime series filmed in Uttar Pradesh which was released in the year 2018. After the huge success of the first season, now its second season is being presented.
Season 2 of the series stars Pankaj Tripatha as Akhanda Tripathi, Devindo Sharma as Mana Tripathi, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Shrita Tripathi as Gaj Gamni Gupta alias Golo Gupta and Rasika Dagal as Bina Tripathi.
