Increase in Corona cases: Decision to close shrines and cinemas immediately

The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has announced the immediate closure of shrines, theaters and cinemas in view of the growing cases of corona in the country.

The meeting was chaired by the head of NCOC and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar to review the situation of Corona in Pakistan, which reviewed the statistics and spread of the epidemic in the country, including the education sector. ۔
The NCOC meeting, chaired by Asad Omar, also recommended a ban on large public gatherings and tightened Corona restrictions in high-risk areas.
The meeting also proposed to increase the implementation of Corona SOPs across the country in view of the second wave of Corona in the country.
According to the NCOC, in order to be safe from major losses, a consensus of all stakeholders is awaited.
On November 16, federal and provincial education ministers will review the situation with a proposal to expedite and prolong winter vacations to mitigate the effects of the Corona outbreak.
Announcing the immediate closure of shrines, theaters and cinemas at the NCOC meeting, it was decided that from November 20, only marriages with a limit of 500 people will be allowed.
The NCOC appreciated the compliance of SOPs in mosques for many months and advised the mosques to continue to implement SOPs in the future as well.
