ISLAMABAD: (November 2, 2020) The Election Commission has given one last chance to Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Wawda to appear in the disqualification case. Faisal Wawda did not appear before the Election Commission even today.
A four-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja heard the disqualification petition filed by Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Wawda. No one from Faisal Wada appeared before the Election Commission even today. Petitioner Hashim Khan Mandokhel's counsel maintained that Faisal Wada had not shown his US passport to the Returning Officer while submitting his nomination papers.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Commission member Irshad Qaiser said that his case was also pending in the Islamabad High Court. The ECP gave Faisal Wada's lawyer one last chance to appear at the next hearing and adjourned the case till November 24.
