KARACHI: Four more people have died of corona virus in Sindh province in the last 24 hours while 822 have been infected.

According to the latest data released by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, the number of corona cases in Sindh has reached 153,873 while the number of deaths has reached 2722.

He said that the condition of 351 corona patients in Sindh was critical while 37 patients were on ventilators.

According to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, another 621 cases of corona have been reported in Karachi after which the number of people affected by the epidemic in the city has risen to 15,493.

It may be recalled that in view of the second wave of the global epidemic of corona virus, celebrations have been banned in wedding halls across the country.

The ban on wedding halls will take effect on November 20, according to a statement issued by the National Command and Control Center (NCOC).

According to the announcement, ceremonies inside the wedding hall will be banned. Events can only be held in the open.

According to the NCOC announcement, a maximum of 1,000 people will be able to attend the open-air wedding ceremony.

In addition, the NCOC has set a penalty rate for those who do not wear masks.

According to the announcement, a person who leaves the house without a mask will be fined Rs 100 and given three masks.

According to the NCOC statement, 50 per cent of staff in all government and private offices have been directed to work from home.

The worst affected cities are Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Multan, while Hyderabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and The same strategy will be applied in Abbottabad.

According to the statement, more corona cases are expected to spread in 13 cities of the country by January 2021.
