Peshawar: Another doctor died of corona virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dr Bashir was ill and undergoing treatment at the hospital due to Corona and was a former Deputy Medical Superintendent of King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, Mansehra.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of doctors killed by Corona has risen to 21. The PDA says Dr Bashir's services in the field of medicine will be remembered.
Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Dr Bashir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan said that the services of doctors during the Corona epidemic were commendable, adding that citizens should ensure implementation of precautionary measures to avoid the Corona epidemic.
It should be noted that 23 more people have lost their lives in Pakistan due to the global epidemic Corona virus and the total number of deaths has reached 7,000.
According to the data released by the National Command and Operations Center, 1,637 new cases of Corona have been reported in the country and the total number of affected people has reached 346,476.
In Pakistan, 319,431 Corona patients have recovered and 20,045 are undergoing treatment.
