Coronavirus: Marriage halls banned in major cities of Pakistan

The National Command and Operations Center on Corona II has announced strict measures, banning celebrations inside wedding halls in major cities of the country from November 20, now only open wedding ceremonies will be allowed, in public and private institutions. Work from home policy will be implemented. The second phase of precautionary measures will take effect until January 31, 2021.
A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar in which it was decided to take strict measures to curb the spread of the second wave of corona virus. Under the second phase, sanctions will be imposed tomorrow (Saturday, November 7). To 31 January 2021.
The NCOC has banned celebrations inside wedding halls in major cities of the country from November 20. Weddings will be held in open spaces with a capacity of 1,000 people.
The cities that have been targeted include Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and Abbottabad. ۔
It was decided in the meeting that the Gilgit-Baltistan model regarding wearing of face masks would be implemented. A fine of Rs. 100 and 3 masks would be provided on the spot for not wearing masks.
According to the NCOC, the work-from-home policy will be implemented in public and private institutions, 50 per cent of staff will stay at home and perform their duties, and there will be smart lockdown in the most affected areas.
There have been 30 deaths from the corona virus in Pakistan today while the death toll has reached 6,923 so far. The number of infected patients is also increasing rapidly.
 Another 14 new cases of corona virus were reported in educational institutions in Islamabad, after which the Islamic University and Model College for Girls were ordered to be sealed.
Dr. Faisal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health said that the main reason for the increase in corona cases in Pakistan is carelessness. If not done, the disease can be controlled only by taking precaution while carelessness will increase the disease, this is a time of great precaution, if the cases increase then we can take drastic measures.
