According to a statement issued by the spokesman of the Peshawar High Court, Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth was suffering from Corona disease and was undergoing treatment at Kulsoom International Hospital in Islamabad.

Who was Justice Waqar Seth? Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth was born on March 16, 1961 in DI Khan, matriculated from Kent Public School Peshawar in 1977 and obtained his BSc degree from Islamia College Peshawar in 1981.
He obtained his LLB degree from Khyber Law College in 1985 and his Masters in Political Science from the University of Peshawar in 1986.
He started his practice from the Lower Courts in 1985 and took over as the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court on June 28, 2018.
It may be recalled that Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth was the head of the three-member bench which had sentenced former Army Chief and President Pervez Musharraf to death in a serious treason case.
In a detailed 169-page judgment, a three-judge bench headed by Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth and Justice Shahid Karim had sentenced Musharraf to death, while Justice Nazar Akbar disagreed and acquitted Musharraf of all charges.
Justice Seth Waqar had written in his judgment that General (retd) Pervez Musharraf was found guilty of high treason and therefore he was sentenced to death.
In paragraph 66 of the detailed judgment, Justice Seth Waqar directed the law enforcement agencies to arrest Musharraf and execute his sentence, stating that if he dies, his body will be kept at D-Chowk in Islamabad for three days. Be hung up
