Islamabad: (November 08, 2020) 25 more corona virus patients died in the country. Corona was confirmed in another 1,436 people. The number of patients under treatment increased to 17,804.
The second wave of Corona in Pakistan began to take a dangerous turn. For the fifth day in a row, the number of deaths and cases from the corona virus has risen.
According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 1,436 people have been infected with the corona virus in the past 24 hours.
The coronavirus has claimed another 25 lives. After which the death toll rose to 6,968. The number of confirmed cases of Corona in the country has reached 343,189.
According to the NCOC, there are 16,577 in Punjab, 149,542 in Sindh, 40,397 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 21,557 in Islamabad, 16,055 in Balochistan, 4,703 in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit. The number of cases has reached 4,358.
The death toll from Corona in Sindh has risen to 2,679, in Punjab to 2,407, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to 1,288, in Azad Kashmir to 109 and in Islamabad to 238. While 154 people have died in Balochistan and 93 in Gilgit-Baltistan so far.
During the last 24 hours, 32,350 corona tests were performed. Currently, 1,067 patients are being treated in various hospitals.
