Two Muslim women re-elected in US elections

Despite criticism from Donald Trump, two Muslim women were re-elected to Congress in the US election.

Elhan Omar is a Somali-American, while Rashida Talib's parents were from Palestine. Both Muslim women were former members of Congress.

In most states in the United States, including Washington, polling is over, and counting is under way. In exit polls so far, Biden has the upper hand over President Trump.

Joe Biden leads with 236 electoral votes, while Trump is trailing with 213 electoral votes.

President Trump or Joe Biden need 270 of the 538 electoral votes to take over the presidency, with the full results of the polls set and the final official announcement set for December 14 this year.
