Rawalpindi: The second T20 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played today.

The second match of the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played today while the third and final match will be played on Tuesday.

Yesterday, the first T20 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe was played at Pindi Cricket Stadium in which Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 6 wickets.

In the match played at Pindi Stadium, Pakistan achieved the target of 157 runs given by Zimbabwe in the 18th over at a loss of four wickets.

Continuing his form, Pakistan captain Babar Azam scored 82 off 55 balls with nine fours and a six.

Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan and set a target of 156 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs.

For Zimbabwe, Madhur played an unbeaten 70-run innings while Sean Williams scored 25 and Chigumbura 21 runs.

For Pakistan, Wahab Riaz and Haris Rauf took 2, 2 while Mohammad Hasnain and Usman Qadir took one wicket each.

With this victory, Pakistan has a one nil lead in the three-match T20 series.

Earlier in the ODI series, the national team had beaten Zimbabwe 2-1.
