The Private Schools Federation rejected the proposal to close the school

ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Private Schools Federation has rejected a proposal to close schools due to the spread of corona virus.

President All Pakistan Private Schools Federation Kashif Mirza has said that the cause of Corona cases is government incompetence and meetings. Millions of students in Corona have suffered irreparable loss of education.

He said that National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) should take notice of illegal political gatherings, only SOPs are being implemented in schools.

Kashif Mirza said that political gatherings and meetings are a mockery of government policy and decisions of NCOC.

The president of All Pakistan Private Schools Federation said that there would be no winter holidays due to lack of time. He rejected the proposal to extend the academic year to August instead of April.

On the other hand, Punjab Education Minister Murad Rass has said that the educational institutions in which corona cases are being reported are being sealed and if the situation like in the past, schools will have to be closed.

Talking on Hum News program 'Sabh Se Aage', he said that random testing is being done in educational institutions. The lives of children and teachers are more important.

The Punjab Education Minister said that more violations of SOPs are taking place in markets and restaurants. Social events are the main reason for the increase in corona cases.

He said that the impression was being given that the Punjab education minister did not want to close the institutions. Murad Ras said schools should not be closed in the current situation.

"We are not satisfied with online education," he said. In online education, students do not pay attention to teachers.

It may be recalled that in view of the increasing number of corona cases in Pakistan, the inter-provincial education ministers have called an emergency meeting which will be held on November 16.
