The death toll from a devastating earthquake in Turkey has risen to more than 80, with a 14-year-old girl miraculously rescued 58 hours later.
According to the details, aftershocks are continuing in Turkey after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake while the death toll from the horrific earthquake has been steadily increasing. So far, 81 people have been killed and more than 900 injured.
President Rajab Tayyab Arduan visited the affected areas. A 14-year-old girl was rescued from the rubble of a building that collapsed due to an earthquake in Izmir three days later. Rescue agencies were present at the miracle where the girl's family was happy. The sentiments of the officials were also strengthened.
The girl was taken to hospital for medical treatment while dozens of people are still feared buried under the rubble.
Twenty buildings collapsed in the deadly quake in Izmir, with rescue teams searching for survivors from the rubble, while the quake victims were housed in makeshift tents.
The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. More than 20 buildings collapsed and roads collapsed.
