PESHAWAR: Teachers and other employees of educational institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have fallen victim to corona. Corona has been confirmed in 83 more employees of public and private educational institutions.
According to the Peshawar Health Department, the number of teachers and other staff affected by Corona has risen to 1,049. From September 15 to November 5, 86,198 teachers and other staff have gone for sampling. The proportion of corona cases among employees has risen to 1.37%.
On the other hand, as soon as the second wave of Corona started, the University of Peshawar has postponed the convocation to be held on November 14.
According to university spokesman Mohammad Noman, the decision to postpone the convocation was taken in view of the government's directive.
