Rawalpindi: Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the second T20 match to win the three-match series 2-0.
In the match played at Pindi Stadium, Pakistan easily achieved the target of 135 runs given by Zimbabwe thanks to the brilliant batting of captain Babar Azam and young batsman Haider Ali.
Haider Ali played an unbeaten innings of 66 off 43 balls with six fours and three sixes while skipper Babar Azam stood out with 51 runs.
Earlier, the national team won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 134 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs.
For Zimbabwe, Burl scored 32, Madhvir 24 and Chigumbura 18 runs.
Haris Rauf and Usman Qadir took three wickets each for Pakistan.
Yesterday, the first T20 match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe was played at Pindi Cricket Stadium in which Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 6 wickets.

For Zimbabwe, Madhur played an unbeaten 70-run innings while Sean Williams scored 25 and Chigumbura 21 runs.
For Pakistan, Wahab Riaz and Haris Rauf took 2, 2 while Mohammad Hasnain and Usman Qadir took one wicket each.
With this victory, Pakistan has a one nil lead in the three-match T20 series.
Earlier in the ODI series, the national team had beaten Zimbabwe 2-1.
