All the players and staff of the West Indies team on the tour of New Zealand have tested negative for corona, after which they can come out of isolation.

The West Indies team arrived in New Zealand on October 30, where the visiting team will be tested for three crores.

On Tuesday, the New Zealand Cricket Board confirmed that the visiting team's first corona test was negative, after which all players could leave their rooms.

West Indies players arriving in New Zealand will be allowed to train and go to the gym after the negative corona test. However, under the Corona virus protocol, players will be quarantined for 14 days, during which 15 players can stay together.

The seven players in the West Indies squad are playing in the Indian Premier League in Dubai and will arrive in New Zealand on November 10 after the event.

The players include T20 captain Caron Pollard, Test captain Jason Holder, Shimron Hetmeyer, Kimo Paul, Fabian Allen, Nicholas Poorn and Oshane Thomas.

Six of the seven players are part of the T20 squad that will complete their quarantine a day before the first T20 in Auckland.

It may be recalled that the West Indies will play a series of three T20s and two Tests against New Zealand and the two teams will meet in the first T20 match on November 27.

The West Indies are the only international team to have made a second overseas tour during the Corona epidemic. The West Indies had earlier played a three-Test series against England in July.
