ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and senior PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the time for seat adjustment in Gilgit-Baltistan has passed. 

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto considered it appropriate to hold talks. He said that PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party are part of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and are contesting elections against each other in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The PML-N leader said that in the current situation, the tradition of dialogue in the country has come to an end.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the time of seat adjustment has passed in Gilgit-Baltistan, PML-N has given a historic development to Gilgit-Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan is hopeful for victory in the elections.

Yesterday, the PML-N and the PPP had demanded transparency in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

This demand was made in a meeting between PML-N Central Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Chairman PP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
