Gilgit-Baltistan: Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan has said that a total of 1234 polling stations have been set up in the province for the elections. He said that out of the polling stations to be set up, 339 have been declared sensitive and 415 highly sensitive.
According to News, addressing a press conference, Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan said that the number of polling stations could be increased if required.
Raja Shahbaz Khan said that we are currently working in war conditions. "Our work is being criticized but no one is praising it," he said.
Addressing a press conference, he said that he had gone to Islamabad to brief the Senate. He said that he also met the MD Printing Press in Islamabad in which he approved the ballot papers.
According to News, Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan said that strict security arrangements have been made for the ballot papers. He said three officers and 15 policemen were taken away for security.
