Lahore: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has imposed income tax of Rs 58 million on renowned singer Atif Aslam. Aslam did not disclose his flats in Dubai in his statements. The FBR had obtained details of Atif Aslam's bank accounts and assets.The FBR issued notice to singer Atif Aslam by imposing tax on him. It may be recalled that earlier Pakistani actor and Fawad Khan had also come on the radar of FBR. The FBR has started an investigation and sought a five-year travel history of such a filmstar. According to sources, Fawad Khan has shown foreign income of ایک 11.7 million in his 2019 income tax return. The revenue generated is Rs 1.88 billion. The FBR will also contact those who made payments to filmstar Fawad Khan, while Fawad Khan's 2017 audit has also begun.
