Lahore (Monitoring Desk): A leader of a farmers' union who was injured in an alleged clash with police during a sit-in in Lahore has died. According to details, the farmers' union staged a sit-in in Lahore yesterday in support of the demands. Meanwhile, Malik Ashfaq, a farmer leader, was critically injured in the clash and is now reported to have died. The Kisan Ittehad has demanded that a Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) be appointed. Lahore should be removed and the Punjab Chief Minister should take notice of the incident. Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police Inam Ghani has sought a report of the incident from the CCPO.
