BEIJING: The world's emerging power, China, is making its mark in all walks of life. The latest example of this is the satellites that have been sent into space to acquire 6G internet technology.

China sent its satellite into space on the 6th of this month to test on 6G. A video message released by the Chinese embassy in the US on the social networking site Twitter said that the mission to send 13 satellites into space via a single orbit has been completed for research on 6G.

The satellite, which was sent from China, weighs about 70 kilograms. Earth will be monitored from the air through 6G tests. This capability is one of the most advanced technologies.

It may be recalled that an operating system was recently developed by the Chinese multinational technology company Huawei. Called "Harmony" OS, the technology is being used for infotainment systems, cars, televisions and smart devices.

Earlier, South Korean technology company Samsung was said to have started work on 6G technology. The company has long been working with research institutes and higher education institutions on 6G networks and other applications.

Research on this technology has just begun as technology experts say that 6G internet technology will not be available to the public before 2030.

On the other hand, China's advancement in the field of technology is a matter of great concern in the United States. This is being blamed on the daily US sanctions on Chinese companies.
