Bosnian President arrives in Pakistan for two-day visit

Islamabad: (November 04, 2020) The President of Bosnia arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit.

He arrived at the Prime Minister's House to meet with Bosnian President Imran Khan, where he was received by Prime Minister Imran Khan and presented with a guard of honor. The two leaders will hold one-on-one and delegation-level talks.
Earlier, Bosnian President Shafiq Jaffrovich called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and discussed bilateral relations, the situation in the region and issues of mutual interest. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan has cordial fraternal relations with Bosnia and the two countries have helped each other in every hour of need.
Bosnian President Shafiq Jaffrovich said he was grateful for the participation of UN troops in the war in Bosnia. The two leaders will also attend the signing ceremony of the MoU. Prime Minister Imran Khan will host a luncheon in honor of Shafiq Jaffrovich. The Bosnian president arrived in Islamabad on Flight TK710 with a 17-member delegation, where he was warmly received by Pakistani officials.
During his visit, the President of Bosnia will have meetings with President Dr. Arif Alawi and Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, the President of Bosnia and Herzegovina also has separate meetings with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Foreign Minister and Trade Adviser.
