A court in the US state of Pennsylvania has rejected allegations of massive electoral fraud by Donald Trump, a new blow to Trump.
According to the French news agency AFP, the court's decision has paved the way for the newly elected president Joe Biden's victory in Pennsylvania, which will be confirmed on Monday.
Donald Trump is due to hand over power to Biden on January 20, and his team wants to prevent election officials from verifying the results in key states, but they are failing.

Judge Matthew Brann wrote in his ruling that Trump's team had made "legal points about the votes cast by mail in Pennsylvania without merit and based on rumors."
According to AFP, Donald Trump received 232 electoral votes, while Joe Biden took a clear lead with 306 votes.
Following the confirmation, the Electoral College will hold regular voting on December 4.
However, Donald Trump's refusal to accept defeat could worsen the situation and there are fears that American voters may lose confidence in the voting system.
Prior to the decision on Pennsylvania, Republicans had written a letter asking for confirmation of votes in another state, Michigan, two weeks later, with Biden winning by 155,000 votes.

Joe Biden has not yet criticized Donald Trump's remarks, but he did say that "a very bad message is being sent to the world about democracy." It's beyond comprehension how this man thinks.

Trump has made few public appearances since the election results, but he has continued his campaign on Twitter.
