Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Ban on entering government offices without a mask

PESHAWAR: Entry into government offices without masks has been banned in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to corona virus.

According to a statement issued by the administration department, visitors to all government offices, including the Chief Minister's Office and the Governor's House, have been barred.

According to the statement, Saileen has been directed to contact the concerned authorities over telephone.

In addition, unnecessary staff and sick employees of government offices have been instructed to work from home.

According to the statement, the employee has been instructed to maintain social distance and avoid holding events and gatherings.

It is believed that the intensity of the second wave of corona virus is increasing across the country.

In the last 24 hours, 1,123 new cases of corona virus have been reported in Pakistan and the total number of infected people has reached 335,093.

The coronavirus has claimed 17 more lives in Pakistan, bringing the total death toll to 6,823.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, 12 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours due to corona and the total number of deaths has reached 6,835.

In Pakistan, 315,016 patients of Corona have recovered and 13,242 are undergoing treatment.

The National Command and Operations Center has made it mandatory to wear a mask to prevent corona virus in Pakistan.

Citizens must wear masks when leaving their homes. Masks will be required for those working in government and private sector offices.

Provincial governments have been directed to make SOPs and masks mandatory in markets, shopping malls, public transport, restaurants.

According to the NCOC, corona is spreading in 11 cities across the country. Eighty percent of corona cases in Pakistan are reported from eleven major cities.
