KARACHI: The Court of Inquiry report on Mazar-e-Quaid desecration incident and IG Sindh case has been completed on the orders of the Army Chief.

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Army's Court of Inquiry into the IG Sindh incident has been completed on the orders of the Army Chief. Gone Relevant officers of Pakistan Rangers and Sector Headquarters ISI Karachi were removed from their responsibilities on the recommendations of the Court of Inquiry.

According to the Court of Inquiry's investigation, on the night between October 18 and 19, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Sector Headquarters ISI Karachi officers desecrated Mazar-e-Quaid. Were busy dealing with the situation created by the reaction. According to the report, the officers of Pakistan Rangers and Sector Headquarters ISI Karachi were under intense public pressure to take timely action as per law after the desecration of Mazar-e-Quaid. These officers, in view of the strong public reaction and the rapidly changing tense situation, found the conduct of the Sindh Police to be inadequate and sluggish in their knowledge.
