Gilgit: Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan has ordered all federal ministers and government officials to leave Gilgit-Baltistan within three days.

The Chief Court in its decision said that federal ministers and government officials should leave Gilgit-Baltistan in three days. A bench of Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Justice Justice Malik Haq Nawaz and Justice Ali Baig ruled on the petition.
It may be recalled that the general elections for the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly will be held on Sunday, November 15.
Earlier, general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan were scheduled for August 18, but were postponed. On March 30, the Supreme Court of Pakistan allowed the general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Supreme Court, while hearing the petition seeking establishment of caretaker elections and general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, gave a brief verdict allowing amendment in the Gilgit-Baltistan Order 2018.
The GB Order 2018 was challenged by locals in the Gilgit Appellate Court, but the court suspended the order, but the Supreme Court of Pakistan reinstated the Order 2018 in August 2018.
